At the Meeting held at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 30, 2015, the Beaufort County Board of Elections dismissed the complaint filed by Adam O’Neal against Belhaven Precinct Officials. The Board unanimously agreed that the complaint did not comply with 8 NCAC 3.0201 and did not cite any negative election action by the precinct officials and that social and political relationships do not directly lead to the conclusion that the persons accused would not perform their duty as required by their oath and training.
