The Beaufort County Board of Elections has cancelled scheduled challenge hearings for Monday, November 7th, 2016. Hearings have been cancelled pursuant to the lawful order of the U.S. District Court of the Middle District of North Carolina.
The Beaufort County Board of Elections will still meet at 5:00 pm on Monday, Novembers 7th at 5:00 pm in order to approve absentees for the November 8th, 2016 Presidential Election.

Pursuant to the lawful order of the U.S. District Court of the Middle District of North Carolina on November 5th, 2016, all voters who were challenged by Shane Hubers, Ricky Radcliffe, James Merritt, and Alan Rogers, have been reinstated to their prior voter registration status prior to challenge hearings. All challenged voters are able to report to the polls either at one stop early voting on November 5th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm or to their respective precincts on Election Day and will be able to vote.
