POLLING PLACE CHANGE: Beaufort County Community College Public Safety Training Center (Building 15) has replaced the Grange Building for Beaver Dam Voters

Any voter in the Beaver Dam Precinct who usually votes at the Grange Building on Terrapin Track Road, will now need to report to the BCCC Public Safety Training Center (Building 15) at 5337 US Highway 264 East, Washington, NC 27889 in order to vote on Primary Election Day, May 17th, 2022 and all future elections.

2022 Candidate Filing begins Monday, December 6th, 2021 at 12 noon

Filing Starts – Monday, December 6th, 2021 at 12:00 Noon

Filing Ends – Friday, December 17th, 2021 at 12:00 Noon

All filing fees must be made in the form of cash or personal check.  Filing Fees above $50 must be made in the form of a check and cannot be paid by a check from a business.

UOCAVA Election Notice for the March 8th, 2022 Primary in Beaufort County, NC is now available on our Website

The Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act or “UOCAVA” requires states to allow certain voters who are absent from their county of residence to have special rights that provide an expedited means for them to register and vote by mail-in absentee ballot. In order to qualify under the provisions of UOCAVA in this state, a voter must be a legal resident of North Carolina.
